New General Service Lamps templates have been posted on the CCMS web site. The revised General Service Lamps - CFLs, v5.3 template, as well as the new General Service Lamps - Integrated LEDs, v5.0 and General Service Lamps - Other than CFLs and Integrated LEDs, v5.0 templates, align with the certification requirements outlined in 10 CFR Part 429.57(b). Note that the General Service Lamps - CFLs, v5.3 template replaces the Medium Base Compact Fluorescent Lamps, v5.2 template and that the Candelabra and Intermediate Base Incandescent Lamps, v5.1 and Incandescent Reflector Lamps, v5.7 templates have been absorbed into the General Service Lamps - Other than CFLs and Integrated LEDs, v5.0 template.

These new templates may be used immediately, but per the guidance issued in the final rule published on October 9, 2024 at 89 FR 81994 must be used for all submissions no later than May 7, 2025 to certify compliance with the applicable energy conservation standards. Until that date, the previous Medium Base Compact Fluorescent Lamps, v5.2, Candelabra and Intermediate Base Incandescent Lamps, v5.1 and Incandescent Reflector Lamps, v5.7 templates are available upon request.
