Revised Commercial Package Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps and Variable Refrigerant Flow Multi-Split Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps templates have been posted on the CCMS web site.

These revised templates have been updated to remove the product group codes and applicable columns for air-cooled, three-phase, small commercial package air conditioning and heating equipment with a cooling capacity of less than 65,000 Btu/h (“three-phase, less than 65,000 Btu/h ACUACs and ACUHPs”) and air-cooled, three-phase, variable refrigerant flow multi-split air conditioners and heat pumps with a cooling capacity of less than 65,000 Btu/h (“three-phase, less than 65,000 Btu/h VRFs”)).

When certifying compliance with the January 1, 2025, energy conservation standards for three-phase, less than 65,000 Btu/h ACUACs and ACUHPs and three-phase, less than 65,000 Btu/h VRFs, the currently posted Small Air-Cooled 3-Phase Commercial Package and Variable Refrigerant Flow Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps, v5.0 template must be used. These revised templates may be used immediately, but must be used when certifying compliance with the July 1, 2025 annual filing requirement. All Commercial Package Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps and Variable Refrigerant Flow Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps that are not three-phase, less than 65,000 Btu/h ACUACs, ACUHPs, or VRFs do not have to be re-certified until the July 1, 2025, annual filing date. Prior to that date, the previous versions of these templates are available upon request.
