New test procedures and reporting requirements for room air conditioner templates go into effect on September 27, 2021.  A new template that incorporates these changes, Room Air Conditioners, v5.4, has been posted on the CCMS website.  This template must be used beginning September 27, 2021.  Prior to that date, either this v5.4 template or the v5.2 template, which incorporates the current test procedures and reporting requirements, may be used.  Models submitted on the current v5.2 template, including those for the annual certification date of July 1, 2021, do not have to be resubmitted until the next annual certification date of July 1, 2022.
